Dear Irish Listers, If anyone has any information on my great grandfather, Richard Austin Walsh, I would love to know it. All we know about his birth is that it took place in Ireland in 1840. He came to the United States in 1862 and to St. Joseph Missouri in 1869. His marriage to Mary Margaret Loftus on October 27, 1874 took place at the Cathedral in St. Joseph. He died May 16, 1904, in St. Joe - the newspaper obituary lists only Ireland as his place of birth. Does anyone recognize this man as a relative?
