Hi, I'm hoping someone may have some information on the following; William Johnson b.1745, his wife Jane ? possible Ferris or Faris b.1752 his sons, Peter b.1780, and Richard b.1782 his brother Thomas and wife, 5 children, John T. b.1804, Alice b.1811, Mary b.? William T. b.1818 and Thomas b.1820 his brother, name unknown, was killed in the IrishInsurrection 1798, believe his sons where John b. 1791 and Thomas b.?? In the Canadian Census it states that William belonged to the Church of England. William was from Wells, Wexford. In the 1708 work Tabual Hiberniae, Henry Pratt, mentions that Wells lies on the main road between Castlebridge and Gorey. On a topographic map of Ireland it, shows "Wells Ho." about 4 miles to the east is "Killincooly." It appears that there are some sort of ruins around "Wells Ho" and only a few buildings at "Killincooly" "Killincooly is at an intersection of two roads. It's about 14 miles north from the city of Wexford and less than a mile from the cliff-edged south east coast. Is "Wells Ho" a farm name or a village? What are the ruins around it? What if anything is standing where "Wells Ho" was? I would greatly appreciate any information on this family, and Wells or Wells Ho. Janis
