Can anyone help me please? My maternal grandfather was Charles Patrick JORDAN, born 13 August 1887 at Irish Street, Enniscorthy, Wexford, Eire. On the marriage cert. for my GF it shows his father as Patrick JORDAN, Jockey, but on his birth cert. for father it says Charles JORDAN, Cott-Man. His mother was Mary FLOOD. (Incidentally the Informant of the birth was Annie FLOOD, who is shown as "present at birth") It is believed he had a brother Charles and sisters Minnie and Kate. He left Ireland to join the King's Royal Rifles and fought in WW1, dying in 28 May 1932 as a result of illness due to gas inhalation during the war.
