Hello, my name is Patricia and I am from the United States and a descendant of John ROACH (Sr) and new to this site and hoping someone may be able to help me locating records on John. John ROACH/ROCHE,(SR) b. date unknown m. Elizabeth Dunn (date unknown) b. date unknown. They may have had 4 children in County Wexford before coming to Canada. William b. 7-17-1796, John, Jr b. 7-18-1798, Margaret,1800 (there is another Margaret b. 1819 so it is apparent the first Margaret may have died thus a second child would hav been given this name, a common practice of the day), and Mary b. 11-16-1800. Perhaps they emigrated to Canada around 1801. There first child was born in 1796 so perhaps they were married around 1794-95. Assuming John was around 20 when he married he could have been b. around 1770-1774/5. I know this is a stab in the dark but you just never know. If someone can help me I would be very greatful.
