News of Celestine Rafferty's pending departure from Wexford is saddening, but she will surely settle in well in her new surroundings. My GF, one Nicholas (O')BYRNE moved into Ballymacar in 1896 when he married a Margaret WALSH. He originated a little to the East, at Grasscur where the family had been located for some time. I'm seeking confirmation of his background and would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have knowledge of BYRNES in any of the following places (all fairly close together): Taghmon, Rochestown,Rathangan, Newtown, Grasscur, Cleariestown, Cooleycall, Ballylibernagh (Bridgetown), Doonooney (Adamstown),and Kilcowan.
