    3. I read the earlier inquiry from Peter about sources for maps & landlord info - Have found some great info: If you are not familiar with the search engine called All the Web (www.alltheweb.com ) you should try it out. This engine is FAST, and very comprehensive. When I searched for the keywords historical maps Ireland the list of useful sites that came back was huge...Great places to get maps. Through this list I also found the local Ireland site ( www.local.ie/genealogy/) which is a goldmine of information, not only of specific information about genealogy research for Irish roots, but also for information about the divisions of Ireland and a description of what sources are available for research into those divisions. There are many links to different areas of Ireland, so use All The Web to get the list so you can choose which link you need. Through the local Ireland site you can link into the info on how to find your ancestors through rent records, church records, landowner records, etc... Have fun! Ruth Shasteen (researching TRACY family in WEXFORD COUNTY, in the TOWNLANDS of TRACEYSTOWN EAST and TRACEYSTOWN WEST in the PARISH of TAGHMON).
