Hi I have been sitting on the list for quite some time reading, but now hope that some kind person could possible give me a few pointers as I am not a resident of Ireland, and only normally do research in Wales. I am researching the name KIELTY and only have a very limited amount of detail. KIELTY, Elizabeth Mary born 9.1.1937 Wexford died 14.3.1995 Barrow in Furness, Cumbria Mother - Maureen POWERS born ? ? Father - Patrick KIELTY born ? Wexford Married in London in 1927 Grandmother - Margaret WITTY born ? Grandfather - Joseph KIELTY born 1900 (?) died 1976 (?) Buried at Grasstown ? Cemetary That's it! Is there something I could read which would give me any pointers as to where to look? I am aware that a great deal of records have been destroyed. They were all Catholics if that is of any help. Could I obtain any microfiche? Is there an index or some one who could check the details at Grasstown? Cemetary for me? (cheeky I know:) Unfortunately, Elizabeth Kielty died in a house fire in 1995 and all papers relating to her family were destroyed Any help however small would be a great help.
