Thanks, Brian. This is also, in larger size, on the Wexford Library site (www.Wexford.ie/library.htm). Of interest, they apparently are fierce about these "sporting colors of purple and gold". When I was there in October of '96 there was a national sporting match --soccor, I think_and purple and gold flags, banners, pennants, etc. were everywhere. As a matter of fact, when I found the ruins of a mud house that my ancestors had inhabited, I saw that the stones in front of the cottage had been painted purple and gold. Milli
