I'm new to the list as I have just identified that my GALLIVAN ancestors were from New Ross. They are: EDWARD GALLIVAN - born 7/1809-6/1810 wife: MARY ? GALLIVAN - ? (does not appear in US records) daughter: ELIZABETH - born 7/1842-6/1843 daughter: ELLEN - born 7/1844-6/1845 This Catholic family emigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio, first appearing in any records in the 1860's. I would appreciate any suggestions for researching in New Ross and am wondering if anyone is familiar with or connected to this name. Thanks very much. Bob Krebs
