I amlooking for any records concerned my part of the Meadows family By belief is that they were early incomers into Ireland probably part of the Protestant who were settled there. records for the 1700s indicate that there were large Nos. of Meadows in Wexford, few anywhere else. A family letter indicates that they fled Ireland probably for good reason before 1700 landing themselves in a remote part of the northern English Cotswolds -longborough where they stayed until 1900ish. I am really interested in hearing of any other meadows who emigrated from Wexford to either England or America, to look at early common threads Alternatively I heard from an ancient uncle now deceased that some family members went in the early 1900s from Gloucestershire temple Guiting probably to California Any links with nay of this anyone has will be useful Vivien Meadows
