I have recently been sent a coat of arms for Meadows that has Ireland at the bottom of the shield This was sent to me by someone from the Meadows roots list in the USA. It was of interest as I have heard a mention of something like this from a deceased aunt in New Zealand. Doubtless these Meadows were people of their time & involved in some sort of suppression of their neighbours. I will write soon to cousins in NZ by mail as PCs have not reched them yet, to check if the picture of the coat of arms is still around. I tried to send the coat of arms to this list & rightly got it rejected because not everyone's PC could take the graphics. I am a novice to computers Given the only concentration of Meadows in Ireland seems to be in Wexford, is this of interest to anyone? Vivien Meadows
