Hello, I am new to the list and researching the CROKE surname. In particular, Nicholas Croke from New Ross. Nicholas made frequent trips (1787-1842) from New Ross to St. John's, Newfoundland. He married Mary Coghlan in 1821 in St. John's. They had 3 sons: Nicholas, Martin & Henry. Nicholas Sr. was a carpenter who later established himself as an architect. He died in 1850 in St. John's.
