    1. [WEX] BELL Family
    2. Merritt D. Mullen
    3. Genevieve: I am wondering if your BELL family could be connected to mine. My gg-grandparents were Edward BELL and his wife Elizabeth (maiden name unknown). Edward was born before 1810, probably in Scotland, but married Elizabeth in Ireland (I believe) about 1826 and lived in Carnew, Co. Wicklow (where his children were baptized in the Ch. of Ireland) and later moved to near Gorey, Co. Wexford. There children (and birthdates) were: Joshua (1827), may have married Mary WOODS and fathered Edward BELL, b. 1865 Gorey, Co. Wexford. Jemima (1829), married Mathew HOUGHTON, migrated to Quebec abt 1850 and to Kentucky abt 1861. My g-grandparents. John (1831) Eliza (1834) Sarah Jane (1836) Susan (1838), came to America with sister Jemima, died in Kentucky 1867, unmarried. Mary (1840) The only ones I have further info on are Jemima and her sister Susan. Does anything look familiar? Merritt mmullen@ridgecrest.ca.us Merritt D.
