    1. [WEX] MYLER/OWEN; MYLER/CROW
    2. Hello! Just reposting my surnames. Thomas MYLER, b. c. 1735, married Margaret OWEN. Their son, THOMAS MYLER b. 1761, married Elizabeth CROW b. 1764, in the (Presbyterian? - or, perhaps the protestant?) parsonage in Old Ross in 1786. They had a son, THOMAS MYLER, b. 1788 in Old Ross. In the fall of 1790, Thomas and Elizabeth and their small child emigrated to the U.S., landing in Baltimore after a three-month journey. I am trying to document this family, going back to the first Thomas in 1735. It is my understanding that the Thomas born in 1735 was a linen draper, not only manufacturing linen, but selling it as well. He was also a fairly wealthy land owner in the mid and late 1700's. Where might any records of this family be kept in County Wexford today? In the family history, written in 1911, it says that much of the above information was passed down from Elizabeth Crow Myler herself. Her family is supposed to have lived in a castle in Old Ross. If someone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much! Doing research in Ireland is fairly new to me, although I am learning a lot by reading all the posts on this wonderful list! Nancy M(yler) Goodwin Wilmington, DE USA pianoteacher3@juno.com
