Re: Hugh & Daniel Carten, Wexford(?) - to U.S. circa 1845 Am seeking information on brothers Hugh and Daniel(?) Carten who emigrated, we believe from Wexford, around 1845. Hugh came to America via Montreal following Catherine Bulger, whom he married in Montreal when he was 17. They later moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut. We believe Hugh's brother, Daniel, followed Hugh to Connecticut where he married Bridget Clark. Their children were Dennis H. (b. 1857), Thomas F. (my great-grandfather, b. 1860), Daniel (b. 1862) and Bridget (b. 1865). Am seeking info. on Hugh and Daniel's parents and other relations in Ireland.
