Cara, I can not thank you enough for all the information on Ballycross. I am still in contact with the Leared family, my Great Grandfather married two of them!, I hasten to add not at the same time, and that the eldest son of the eldest son has taken Leared as a first name. The Furneys and Boltons see to have being marrying each other for some time, William Bolton marrying Sophia Furney at Castletown Queens County which is where my Gt Grandfather Lemuel was living, maybe that is how he came to Wexford. You mention in your email "Furney family records indicate..." if you have any more on the Family, and can find the time, I would be most grateful for any information.
