    1. [WEXFORD] Flynn & Murphy
    2. Am looking for info on Edward Flynn and Johanna Murphy who married 24th August 1840 at St Aidan’s Cathedral, Enniscorthy. Witnesses were Patt Murphy & Susy Chapman; the priest was Father J Roche. Who was this couple, did they have children and what happened to the entire family. (Born when? Did they stay in Ireland? Die there? Did they leave for U.S. or another country? Who were their relatives?) This is possibly the first lead in over 30 years of searching for the parents of my gggrandfather (John Edward Flynn/Flinn of 1840’s County Wexford, Ireland). Would certainly appreciate any information anyone could give to see if this Edward and Johanna are the correct lead. Safe Holidays to all. Karyl Flinn Mohrmann KMohrmann@aol.com

I know I print out photos of significant churches for my family binders and thought others would be doing that too. As an example see: http://www.igp-web.com/IGPArchives/ire/dublin/photos.htm Wexford doesn't have any. If you have been to Ireland or live there and can share a photo, that would be great. To donate look for the submission form on the main page for the archives and also on each county index page. You can upload your photo using the form. 1. Re: [WEXFORD] Re STEELE in Co Wexford
    2. Cathy asks, === Wanting to know where exactly please is Kyle in Co wexford. === The townland listings show six Kyle-type townlands..... two of the plain variety, and four with "extensions". One Kyle townland is on the eastern slope of Black Rock Mountain (just east of Mount Leinster) and is a bit more than 3 miles SW of Bunclody/Newtownbarry, and is in Templeshanbo civil parish. The other Kyle townland includes virtually all of the village/small town of Oulart, seven miles east of Enniscorthy. It is in Meelnagh civil parish. Also in this parish is the townland of Kyle Little, which abuts Kyle and lies mostly to its southeast. There are three connecting townlands of Kyle Lower, Kyle Middle and Kyle Upper, stretching from the eastern bank of the River Slaney to the southeast. These townlands are in Kilpatrick civil parish, and the group of townlands is about five to six miles NW of Wexford town. Pete .................................................... 3. For what it's worth here's some info on John Sinnott's line, though I've lost the notebook I used when visiting him so it may be a bit iffy: John Sinnott's father's mother was a Doyle of Waddington whose mother was a Daly of Balloughton. This Doyle lady was a first cousin of Phil Daly (who married Kate Chapman). Phil's mother was a Sullivan of Coolraheen. You'd never know, it might tie in to someone's line. He does have a wonderful memory but I think if you want to visit him it has to be around 5pm in the pub - is that right Cyril? Eileen ----- Original Message ----- From: John C. I am looking for any information on John Sinnott who married Elizabeth White. They were married in Rathagan Parish on April 24 1856. Witnesses were Catherine White and Elza Graham. I know they had at least one child, and problably more. That one was Nicholas, and he wound up in CA, and married Ann Maude Thorpe, or Maude Ann Thorpe. She's my connection to the Sinnott family. Here however its the Sinnotts, and Whites in Wexford that connect with John and Elizabeth that I'm interested in. I think John was born around 1841? and Elizabeth around the same time, but not sure. I'd really like to know who their parents were, did they have sibblings, if so who, where, when. and if any of them immigrated to USA, and then if they did where to, with whom, where, and when.
