The mention of Hungerford and St. Clement Dane has remeinded me it has been some months since I mentioned David Westall born Scott Common, Oxon.1788 who served in the Peninsular Wars and at Waterloo with the 13th. Light Dragoons. He subsequently married at St. Clement Dane and after a short while in London went up to Tyneside with his wife Catherine Atkinson who came from Newcastle upon Tyne. I believe David's parents were David and Alice nee Ewen who married at Ipsden, Oxon 1787. If this family ties in with anyones family tree I would be happy to exchange information.
