    3. I dare say Patricia's artist Westalls may connect with the earlier William Westall 1781-1850 who was the artist with Flinders' expedition to Australia. His wife Ann Sidgwick from Dent bore him four sons: William (Rev) 1821, Thomas, Robert (artist) and Richard. William the elder had a much older half-brother Richard, also an artist.
