Thank you both so much. Melksham, Wiltshire is about 10 to 15 Km due West of, Devizes and Bradford-on-Avon is almost due west of Devizes by say 20 to 25 Km! It looks like Swindon is about 30 Km northeast of Devizes. OK, I now have it placed nicely on the map of Wiltshire. If you leave Melksham by road there shows a road going almost directly to Devizes again in 10+ Km. If you then drive slightly north east out of Devizes and then turn right almost straightaway east at the crossroads you would come to Marlborough. Not far past Marlborough is Axford. That is really great! So many of our Westall family members did move around from area to area within Wiltshire?
