Apr - Jun 1900, Haggerstone, London, Eng. Does anyone have a clue where Devozes, Wiltshire was or is? I show a Henry Westall b 1867 Axford, Ramsbury, Wiltshire, Eng? This Henry was the son of John Westall b Bef. 20 Sep 1818, Hamberg, Wiltshire, Eng and his wife was Elizabeth Vockins b Bef. 11 Apr 1824, Ramsbury, Wiltshire, Eng! Hi Bob, I've never heard of Devozes. However, there is a Devizes in north Wiltshire, which is 10 miles from Chippenham (and quite a way from Axford). It's main claim to fame is the Kennet and Avon Canal's Caen Hill flight of 29 locks, which rise 237 feet in 2½ miles. This canal has strong associations with my own branch of the family and is the reason we moved westwards, eventually arriving in south Wales. Hope this helps.
