Hi all, I have been looking at Lancashire and kind of plotting the different cities and towns that our Westall family have lived in. Peter just said he was born in Preston, Lancashire. The Map of England I am looking at can be moved to find any area. I would not think more than a few miles? So it is not hard to believe that our family could have moved from one of these towns to another even 100 or more years ago? At a somewhat further distance south would be Manchester, and not far away is Swinton, to the west and Oldham to the northeast! It is my understanding that in 1890 35% or so of all Westall's in England lived in Lancashire. I have five Westall family groups from Lancashire making up thousands of our family going back hundreds of years. AAA Lancashire and The World, is the largest of these data bases. Many came to the USA. AAA Lancashire, Blackburn, Stuart George Westall AAA Lancashire, James Thomas Westall, this one includes Peter's family going back to Mary b 1806, Rochdale, Lancashire. AAA Lancashire, Richard Westall, AAA Lancashire, Rochdale, Eng. James Westall Looks similar to the James Thomas Westall family? Is there anyone in the Westall List that has a good deal of knowledge on the Westall family of Lancashire? It would be great if we could somehow tie these Westall families together.
