This branch of the WESTALLs is quite fascinating. Amongst my 'miscellaneous' I have collected the following notes: John Tarrant WESTALL, Gent. formerly of Northbrook Street, Newbury. He had quite a history of business dealings countrywide in the UK and also in Australia with [brother?] William Francis Lovelock WESTALL, and was sued for bankruptcy. Dissolved their partnership in 1834 - Linen Drapers. They feature in great detail on-line in The London Gazette 1 June 1858 page 2748. Search: http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/AdvancedSearch.aspx?geotype=London IGI entries for baptism of both as sons of Willm WESTALL/Anna Maria appear 04 May 1810 at St Mary Whitechapel, Stepney, London: WFL born 1802, JTW born 1807. Dorothy, Great info. It duck tails with everything I have found, thank you. The 1841 info is somewhat puzzling as it does not seem to fit?
