With all the mentions of Hawkins in his children's Christian names, I thought it wise to include that 1841 Census return in case it assisted in identifying John Tarrant WESTALL's in-laws? It looks as if the Mary WESTALL might be JTW's wife and the child could be their eldest daughter. There was confusion in the baptisms with the recording of the names of JTW's wife, as I illustrated, so it is feasible that there was similar confusion in recording their first daughter in 1841, unless of course they appear elsewhere? Incidentally, there are a number of other mentions of these WESTALLs in The London Gazette but I only gave the reference for the most prolific. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Westall" <bobatbmw@cox.net> To: <westall@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 5:33 AM Subject: Re: [WESTALL] John Tarrant Westall > > Dorothy, > > Great info.
