Hello Bob, It has been some time since we corresponded and I trust you are well. Have recently had an exchange of mails with a correspondent who is connected to John Smith Westall born Tynemouth 1842 and it appears that his son John William born Tynemouth 1871 went to London after the 1891 census and became an omnibus conductor, married a Charlotte Rachel Trumble in Camberwell 1896 and had a number of children in Islington and St. Pancras. As I was told many years ago "the longest journey starts with but a single step". We, as a family, have made many steps thanks to everyones help!
