Ron, I have seen where names have changed from one census to another. The perfect example was my father. In the 1900 USA Federal Census my father is shown as Melvin L. Westall born Feb 1900. The catch is that his name was "Joseph Lawrence Westall". In the 13,000+ names in my immediate family data base the name Melvin does not appear for any one else. It has always been a little bit of a anomaly for me! I did find Joseph Thomas Westall in FREE BMD as being born in the Oct - Dec quarter of 1906 in Islington, London, England! John William was her great grandfather and one of his sons, Joseph Thomas her grandfather. I have yet to get her line from him. I attach a Report with all the data on John William's family as 4 of the children were born after the 1901 census. One anomaly is that Robert Charles W. is shown on the birth index but in the 1901 he is shown as Albert. CO. I have checked all the information in the Report with GROW index and have GROW reference numbers. Will keep in touch.
