    2. I did a quick check of the image for the index in Q2 1900 and found Mary Elizabeth Kenyon, as expected. There is no John Bailey in Huddersfield - in fact no male marrying in Huddersfield in that quarter who could be the groom. So the fault seems not to be that of FreeBMD, but of the compilers of the index. I can see no alternative but to order her marriage certificate!
