There is bound to have been a report of the accident, I would think. I suggest Googling "Doncaster newspapers" and then see which archives would have copies covering the period and if any are online. There will almost certainly be hard copies and film at the British Newspaper Library at Colindale, North London, but they are in a state of flux because much of the material is being moved to Boston Spa, Yorkshire. There may have been a report in a Sheffield paper too. -- Roy Stockdill Genealogical researcher, writer & lecturer Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
