Don't think it was this rail accident as Parkgate and Rawmarsh are near to Rotherham which is a considerable distance ( about 15 miles) from Doncaster.... and Stainforth is a further 8 miles or so NE of Doncaster...therefore around 23-25 miles in total. Accident could have happened if family were visiting possible Weston relatives who lived north of Sheffield - not far from Rotherham. If child killed it would have been in local newspapers - but means possibly checking up to 52 assuming it was 1926 - suggest work backwards as coroner's report etc may be a week or more after the accident.
