    3. Hello All: I was very lucky to have a brother who did a DNA test for me. He did this even though he didn't have much interest in genealogy. With this test I was able to find more family lines and get the area the family originated from in England. (My family is Crews from Ashburton, Devon.) Now I can concentrate my research in that one area searching for the documents I require to link my family from Newfoundland to England. One also has to be prepared for any negative outcomes a DNA test might have. I think we all have skeletons in the closet & some might find it hard to accept where their line was from. I encourage all to have a DNA test done. It really does help to find other family members living around the world! I am hoping to have my DNA (female) test done soon. I am very curious if it will find native ancestry in my bloodlines! Enjoy the course!!
