Hi All, My thanks to both Nancy and Ann for their replies re my query on the church names in Selby. I was somewhat confused by the fact that both the Catholic Church and the Anglican Abbey were dedicated to St Mary and St Germane but I am easily confused folks. Anyhow, I think I am now non confused :--) Thanks again for your help. Ray
