During the Plantagenet period from the twelfth to the fifteenth century, Ackton Hall was the home of the Featherstone Family. In the early fifteenth century one of the Frosts, an ancient Normanton family married the heiress of the Featherstones. Currently I can trace my history back to Joshua Frost who was married in 1797, he is my brickwall. As my descendants all lived in and around Wakefield it is possible that they could be related to these ancient family of Frosts. Does anyone on this list research the Featherstone's of Acton Hall? Do they have any information on this branch? Here's hoping Steve Frost
