I have Henry CORE my 3 x gt grandfather who according to all Lancashire census from 1841, was born in Yorkshire. Mainly each census suggests Skipton but in 1851 it appears he was born in Hellifield. Looking through the IGI, I find a christening for Henry at Long Preston parents are Richard CORE and Ellen. I have also found a marriage of Richard Core and Ellen Bashal 5th Jan 1795 again Long Preston. In 1841 Richard Core age 65 is living in Hellifield. At the same address is Ellin Core age 30. I don't assume for one minute that this is Ellen Bashal but I am now very stuck. How can I prove any connection between Richard and Henry CORE? I see this area is covered by Wharfdale FHS but can find no reference to the area on their website. I am unable to travel due to ill health. Any other suggestions would be most helpfull regards, Chris
