I have a marriage certificate for Hannah LUNN aged 19 in 1876 (1857 dob) a weaver residence Linthwaite. Father given as William LUNN deceased. Occupation Weaver. She married Chrispin ELLAM Now the only Hannah LUNN born 1857 I have ever been able to find is the daughter of David LUNN and she was christened at Linthwaite. I've just been playing around with Ancestry as so much more is available now than the last time I looked at this. What intrigues me is that she is my husband's great grandmother and my great grandmother was Edith LUNN. I wanted to find a relationship but couldn't so this went in the two hard basket. I wondered if William never married Hannah's mother and she married David who is definitely deceased. Or if the mother married again and William is the step-father who is also deceased or if they simply have the wrong name. It is hard to send for birth certificates if you doubt the correctness of the information you have. Can anyone offer any suggestions. Jean in S.Australia.
