I am new to the list and am hoping that from among the subscribers, someone will be able to help with my HINTON family. My ancestor, Mary Ann LAW married Arthur HINTON in Essex in 1872. By 1881, Arthur HINTON b 1844, housepainter is living with Mary Ann at Montserrat, Tong with their children Lizzie b 1878 and Frederick Arthur b 1880. In 1891 they are living in Heeler St, Tong with additional children, Ernest b 1881, Florence b 1883, Mary Ann and John (twins) b 1885, Alfred b1887 and Lennett b 1889. They are still in Tong in 1901, Arthur is still a painter and there is an additional member of the family, Harry b 1894. I have located possible local marriages for some of the children but would be grateful for any help offered to follow the family through to more recent times. Robin Law.
