Hi The earlier date could be the first "publishing" of the Banns and the later one that of the marriage. Perhaps the bridegroom was from Rotherham and the bride from Wath on Dearne? Thanks Mabel You could be right - but without confirmation it's difficult to know. They're 9 weeks apart rather than 4 weeks for normal banns. I've had some bad experiences with member submissions!
