hiya, a friend has asked me if I know/knew of a school in Pontefract called St Catherine's I can't recall one & there are no churches with that name. Nearest one I know is at Wakefield just up road from the 10pin bowling alley & rugby ground. It was destroyed by fire some years ago & a new Church built there. Not sure if they had a school? My friend has been sent couple of photos with some young girls in uniform. The name St Catherine's School 1948 Pontefract wrote on some of them. thanks for any help, Maureen
