    3. Good Morning all from Albany W.A Australia , This query is a "long shot" but worth a try , any chance that Mary Dyson's husband (Abraham Haige),married 1835 , had a sister named Ann or Anne, if it is the Anne I am looking for she will have married a Johnathan Dearden , probably in Northowram or Halifax some time around 1811 if she was his first wife , it is thought he remarried later in life ? Sorry about the vague inquiry but I have many straws that need grasping . Cheers to all ..Rodney Watson

    3. Hello Rodney - Fortunately it takes me ages to delete files and as I was away in August I missed your email! Now in tidying up I have finally read your enquiry. Mary DYSON and Abraham HAIGH were my Great-great Grandparents in my maternal line. She was born in Rastrick on 6 February 1813 and her parents were William and Mary DYSON. Both he and Abraham were cloth dressers. She married Abraham on 10 August 1835 in Huddersfield and I have a copy of their marriage certificate. I have tracked them through all the census records and in 1841 his mother Sarah was living with them but I have no record of his father. They had 4 daughters and one son and the third daughter was named Anne so may have been named for a sister of Mary. I am planning to be in Yorkshire in April next year and will try following up on them then. In the meantime hope this of interest.
