Up to now I have avoided responding to this type of post (this will be my first and last) but for interest I read the responses made by Roy and I believe they are entirely unacceptable. What is the point of people identifying themselves as newbies and asking questions if they immediately get a rude and patronising reply because they are indeed new to this game. Thankfully these types of exchanges have reduced in recent times but so often there seems to be one common factor to them. Roy - please do a little personal self reflection on your approach to other people off line and as my dear old Dad used to say 'when in doubt - say nowt' I will not respond to any reply - whatever is said. > > From: "Roy Stockdill" <roy.stockdill@btinternet.com> > Date: 2007/08/08 Wed AM 11:15:32 BST > To: west-riding@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [WRY] roy stockdill > > From: rodney watson <pilchard@westnet.com.au> > > > I am having a little trouble dealing with your attitude Roy , if it is > > designed to scare the hell out of newbies , I think you are on the > > right track boyo. :-\> > > Well, tough.
