Roy, Thanks for the information about <"Sufferings of Early Quakers in Yorkshire 1652-1690", being a reprint of a famous book originally published in 1753 by one Joseph BESSE called "A Collection of the Sufferings of the People called Quakers". > Both of these books sound like very interesting sources regarding Quakers and their lifestyles. I am planning a trip to Salt Lake in May and I will be staying with my daughter who lives just 5 miles east of the Salt Lake Family History Center. When I'm not busy playing with my little grandson, I will be at the library, so I will definitely check to see if they have either of these books in their collection. Thanks for the great tip!
