Hello: I am researching the Moorhouse family that came from the Keighley and Bingley areas of WYks. I have come to a dead and believe that it is very possible that my line came from Silsden prior to living in the Keighley area.. I would be very interested in hearing from any interested in the Moorhouse family in Silsden especially if they think they may have connections that are also ii the Keighley and Bingley areas. My great great great grandparents were John Moorhouse, bn ca 1760 and Betty Appleyard bn ca 1763 in Horsforth. They were married 3 Feb 1784 at Bingley. I believe my great great great great grandparents were John Moorhouse, bn ?, who married Eleanor (Ellen) Shuttleworth, bn ca 1736 at Cowling, 15 Sep 1760 at Bingley.
