    3. Hello Richard, I bought the book quite a few years ago in Harrogate, don't think there were many copies published, it's a big book the size of a Telephone Directory not very well printed . I did see another copy for sale at a Book Fair at Pudsey, don't thinl Leeds Libary have a copy. There are 6 Ellis's in the index Alice Ellis- left land in Airton [near Skipton] the rent of which was to be use to apprentice young people and this increased the number of applications .The first payment of £5 was received in 1711, there are another 2 refs to her if you are interested. Edith Maud Ellis - of Scarborough she was imprisoned in 1918 presume it was something to do with the Gt War John Ellis- he was connected to Ackworth School from 1796 Marion Ellis - just says she was at a meeting in 1917 discussing disarmament and was from Leicester. Thomas Ellis - 1666 Taken from a meeting at Wolldale to sessions at Wakefield imprisoned 6 mths and fined goods worth £9-10s this came under the chapter under the title Sufferings. William Ellis - Think he was Alices Husband they are mentioned together living in Airton.
