Hi...... 1. Finding more info on Annie Elizabeth LONGDEN b.1859 d. 16 Aug 1896 married Arthur SAYLES both from Bramley on 30 Sep 1885. Her father was William LONGDEN. I no nothing of her mother. This looks like Annie's census entry in 1881: 5 Kingfield Rd., Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire ANNIE E. LONGDEN Age 23 Unmarried General Servant to the Joshua Wortley family And her parents: 6 Fitzwilliam Square, Greasbrough, Yorkshire William Longden Head Coal Miner Age 52 Born: Greasbrough, Yks. Sarah Longden Wife Age 47 Born: Greasbrough Henry Longden Son Coal Miner Age 18 Born: Greasbrough Martha Longden Daughter Domestic Servant Age 15 Born: Greasbrough Charles Longden Son Age 13 Born: Greasbrough John Longden Son Scholar Age 10 Born: Greasbrough Margaret Longden Daughter Scholar Age 6 Born: Greasbrough Archibald Longden Grandson Age 5 Born: Bradford, Yks. Mabel Longden Granddaughter Age 3 Born: Greasbrough Greasbrough and Ecclesall Bierlow are in the Sheffield area, and look like they had some connection to the Bramley area through the birth of Archibald in Bradford. You could use a look at the 1871 census to place Annie at home with the above family to prove. Perhaps SKS with access will have a look for you. Best wishes.....mary lou **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. (http://money.aol.com/special/hot-products-2007?NCID=aoltop00030000000001)
