Hello, Can anyone enlighten me on what the following document at Sheffield Archives might tell me: It is with the Crewe Muniments: FILE - Quitclaim - ref. CM/902 - date: 3 Oct 1706 Contents Esther Marler of Manchester, widow, to Samuel Eaton, clerk. The annuity payable out of certain lands in Penistone for £23. Former reference: B6 b31. My Eatons materialized in the Penistone/Silkstone/Darton area in the mid 1700's with a marriage at Silkstone in 1758. There is no clear evidence of where my Eatons/Heatons are from, and I am grasping at straws.
