If they are Quakers, you could try the Quaker Family History Society, www.qfhs.co.uk They are indexing some Digests, but I don't know how far they have got. Quaker B.M.D.'s are known as "Digests" and are are the Friends Meeting House Library, next to Euston Station, in London. (Can't find my file for this at the moment) but there are also some in the "Special Collections" at the Brotherton Library, University of Leeds, and some at University of Hull, Quaker Project. The IGI only has different guesses that people have submitted but no actual Batch No's or Source Call No's. I am looking for a copy of the birth date register as well as the full reference. I am not familiar with Quaker records but do have knowledge of Parish records that can be accessed through the LDS.
