Does anyone have information on a Jabez Wilkinson? He married a Mary in England, and went to St. Petersburg, Russia where Mary died. He then married Sarah Parker who was from Sheffield on 10 December 1832 in St. Petersburg. Thank you, Mary Lou. I have thought the marriage has high possiblity. I have some questions about the birth. None of the people I'm looking for were Baptist -- at least Mary Atha, Sarah Parker, and James Thornton were't. And, when Jabez died he was buried in Church of England records. I will check on a map to find out exactly where Quarmby cum Lindley is located in Yorkshire. If it is far away from Leeds I think it higly unlikely that he is the same Jabez Wilkinson that married Mary Atha in St. Peters, Leeds because of both the religion factor and the location factor. If he does turn out to be the same Jabez it will be great to have the names of his siblings.
