They married in 1908, so they could certainly have left Liverpool (they lived in Leeds) in 1912 in separate voyages. I noticed that my grandfather came to Canada first in 1923 and brought his family on a different ship a few months later. Maybe a lot of people chose to have the man come first to look for a job and then send for this wife. But I wonder why their names do not come up on any passenger list that I have been searching!!!
