    1. [WRY] Guiseley Parish Registers; LEE and COOPER, c1800
    2. Hi, Listers. It has been established that my 3xGGrandparents, JAMES LEE and HANNAH COOPER were married in Guiseley Parish in Jun 1794. However, record of the birth/baptism of their offspring, WILLIAM LEE (my 2xGGrandfather) has proved elusive. Family lore has him b. 23 Dec 1801 and emigrating to Philadelphia c1817 where he became the progenitor of my mother's family line in the USA. He died in Centre County, Pennsylvania in 1870. >From the LDS FHL Card Catalog, I have identified the FHL Film number of the Guiseley Parish Register, and plan to order it to search for an entry of William's birth/baptism. However, before embarking on a microfilm study, it made sense to determine if that Register (or transcript thereof) was available in digital form anywhere. I have been to Ancestry, Findmypast, Familyhistoryonline, and Britishorigins, but was unable to find it in any database. So my question is this: Is the Guiseley Parish Register available in digital form somewhere, e. g. a FHS CD or otherwise? Regards, Cecil Townsend Virginia, USA **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.
