Hi, I have been researching the name of FOX as my sixth great grandmother was Sarah FOX born before 1786, married Squire TORDPOFF in Bradford on Sept 17, 1781. I also have a William FOX who married a Betty TORDOFF who was born Jan 13, 1814. they had one daughter Mary FOX who was born in 1837. Unfortunately I have no further details

Hello Janet, It is good to hear from you again.What I am experiencing after almost 10 years of research is that good leads are few and far between and becomes more difficult to identify what is right and what is wrong, but we will try it William Fox, married Betty TORDOFF, Betty was born 13 Jan 1814 to James TORDOFF and Mary GREENHOUGH. Of more significance to my 'tree' is Sarah FOX who married Squire TORDOFF in 17 Sept 1781. Sarah is my third great grandmother. I have 10 WILKINSONs who are distantly relayed to me and/or are of in-law relationships. let me know if you would like the data and I will send it to.you.
