IF anyone is familiar with the following names, please get back to me. LILY LAVINIA MARY BISHOP was my great-grandmother. She was from Kent and married a THOMAS RICHARD VOUSDON in 1899. They had a daughter LILLIE LAVINIA VOUSDON in 1901. Whether or not Thomas Vousdon died, I don't know, but Lily moved from Kent to Yorkshire (PUDSEY/STANNINGLEY) with my great-grandfather CHARLES EDWARD RIPLEY in 1902 and she brought baby Lillie with her. My grandfather JOHN HENRY RIPLEY was born in 1903 in Pudsey, and QUEENIE RIPLEY born in 1904. In 1905 Charles Edward Ripley (then under the name of CHARLES EDWARD BARTON) moved to Durham taking only my grandfather John Henry with him. Lily later met and married JOHN HALL. LILLIE VOUSDON (Lily's daughter from her first marriage) married ARTHUR P BATTY in 1927 (registration district North Bierley). QUEENIE RIPLEY married LEONARD PARRATT in 1924 (registration district North Bierley) JOHN HALL and LILY'S marriage: 21 February 1916 at the Parish Church Pudsey. John (given age 44, occupation Soldier)lived at the same address (14 Park Square, Pudsey) as Lily (given age 36). John's father is given as John Hall (deceased). Lily's father given as John Bishop.
